We know this isn't what you had planned, but please know we are going to do everything we can to make your speech therapy journey as efficient and easy as possible.

At first they might not have had as many words, then perhaps delays with sentences, not speaking at all, or perhaps a lisp or stutter has led you to seek help. Or it could be a preschool or school teacher has raised concerns about your child’s progress.

It can be daunting finding the right therapist, dealing with well meaning friends and family members "Uncle Jim didn't talk until he was five.." and the uncertainty of what your child's future might look like.

We don't know how long your child might need therapy for, but we will work together to create a plan and we'll keep you updated with how they're progressing. If you have other health professionals you're working with, we can collaborate with them to ensure a holistic approach.

With support, many children are able to overcome their communication difficulties. You have made an important first step to helping them.
